He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Frieda Diemert Sr.; and his siblings, Verona Krack, Janet Ashbaker (Gerald) and Roland Diemert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Diemert; his children, Patricia Donovan, Phyllis Reinhold (Michael), Edward Diemert (Jodi) and Elizabeth Shields (Roger); and his sisters, Geraldine Koester (Kenneth) and Fern Diemert. He is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
