She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Kunkel and Rose Kunkel; her siblings, Bernadette Kunkel, Mary Siegfried (George), Walter Kunkel (Virginia), Robert Kunkel (Alberta), Miriam Jung (Cletus) and Madonna Degener (Vernon); and her grandchildren, Abbee Goessling and Adam Goessling.
She is survived by: her husband Sylvester A. Goessling; her children, Joan Eilers (Mark), Nancy Goessling, Carol Hall (Frank), Janet Eddy (Buz), Peggy Perez, Bruce Goessling (Colleen), Warren Goessling (Natasa), Anita Dietrich (Dan) and Ross Goessling (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Blake Eilers (Amanda), Grant Eilers (Melanie), Josh Goessling (Lilly), Danika Schoenfeldt (Duane), Rachel Hall (Ken), Natalie Hall (Oday), Eric Eddy (Rachael), Celia Mahoney (Kyle), Joseph Perez, Matthew Goessling (Kailynne), Kristen Goessling (Raymond), Jacob Goessling (Kira), Cameron Goessling (Haileigh), Collin Goessling, Ryan Dietrich (Jen), Walker Dietrich (Marisa), Reese Dietrich (Hannah), Nina Dietrich (Joshua), Megan Goessling (Patrick), Luke Goessling (Kaitlyn) and Riley Goessling (Sonia). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter and Paul Church (204 W Mill St, Waterloo, IL 62298).
