He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Campbell, Sr. and Elvy Linnea Petterson; his wife Nancy Oakes; his sons, Mike Campbell of Wataga, Scott Campbell of Oquawka and Dave Campbell of DeRidder, Louisiana.; his sister Toni Hunt; and his nephews, Reg and Dirk. He was also cherished by his 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
