He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Hathaway and Katie L Hathaway (Philpots); his daughter Julie A. Hathaway; his wife Janet G. Cunningham; his siblings, Clara Price and Clarence Hathaway; and his son-in-law Victor Justus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharrie Justus of Galesburg and Cathie Brush (Randy) of Galesburg; his siblings, Margaret Lybarger of Colorado Springs, Geraldine Hathaway of Galesburg and Allen Hathaway (Evelyn) of Kirkwood; his grandchildren, Roger Brush, Christian Justus (Megan), Keith Brush (Macey Turner), Kami Justus (Daniel Gonzalez) and Kevin Brush; and his adorings, Boston Terriers, Annie and Suzie Q. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
