He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph E. Feely and Anna J. Feely (Farrell); his sons, Joseph "Jay" Feely III (Tricia) of Galesburg, Matthew Feely (Amy) of Cleveland, Timothy Feely of St. Louis and James Feely (Melinda) of Safford, Arizona; his grandchildren, Kathryn Bowton (A. J.), Lauren, Christopher, Allison, Emma, Ashley Feely, Andrew, Grace Feely, Claire and Elizabeth Feely; his great grandchildren, Gabriella and Maci Bowton; his sisters, Sharon Shreeves (Myron) of Knoxville and Ellen Milnamow (Bill) of Wheaton; his brother-in-law Gordon Nicklaus of Dixon; his grandsons, Joshua Paul Feely and Charles Joseph Feely; his sisters, Colleen Trask, Patricia Nicklaus and Sheila Crist; and his pet Cheerio. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
