Gary Shively Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Shively of Wataga, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Shively and Challene Shively (Delawder). He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Swanson; his wife Martha of Wataga; his daughters, Renee Culp (Frank) of Denison and Shelli Taylor of Oneida; his sister Donna Davis (Larry) of Shorewood, Illinois; his grandchildren, Megan Culp of Denison, Shane Culp (Sarah) of Burkburnett, Victoria Thacker (Troy) of Tucson and James Culp (Rebecca) of Okinawa, Japan; his great grandchildren, Colton, Carson, Declan, Tristan, Emmery, Astyn and Collin; his stepchildren, Albert Schmitz (Marla), Becky Hunter (Tim) and Deann Huffman; and his close friend Mike Swanson. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren and one step-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Gary's honor to OSF Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
