He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hickey and Edna Hickey; his sister Sharon Hamann; his uncle Guy; and his aunt Gladys Boldon.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Hickey (Anderson); his children, Don Hickey (Pam) of Galesburg, IL, Dena Wilcoxen (Jeff) of Bonita Springs, FL and Pamela Gannon (Sean) of Palatine, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew Hickey (Amy), Kimberly Hill (Seth), Jake Burkhardt (Jane) and Lia Gannon; his great grandchildren, Aubree Hill and Melody Hickey; and his sister Linda Vef (Tom) of O'Fallon, MO. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wataga Fire Department, honoring Don's commitment to his community.
