He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jones and Mary Helen Rinkenberger; his son Keith; his stepfather Carl Shelander; his brother George Shelander; his sister-in-law Nancy Shelander; and his son-in-law Ian Howley.
He is survived by: his wife Ila Cheryl Schwenk; his children, Beth Howley (late Ian) and William Shelander (Lisa); his grandchildren, Miles Howley, Tess Howley, Grace Howley and Andrew Davis; and his siblings, Kathy Shelander (Trisha), Linda Killian (Robert), Vickie Howard (Joseph), Rebecca Knott (Joseph), Ellen Abrams (Kevin), Thomas Jones (late Patrice), Bryan Jones (Tina) and Robert Jones (Patricia).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mason-White Funeral Home (20 Valley Forge Dr, Washington, IL 61571). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
