He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Hamilton and Bernadine C. Hamilton (Gerber); and his grandson Christopher Lee Hamilton. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Goodwin; his wife Janet Adkins; his children, Pam Pozzie of Carlock, Jerry (Cindy) of Washington, Keith (Paula) of Gays and Jim (Carol) of Washington; and his grandchildren, James "JT" Pozzie, Travis Pozzie, Jonathan Hamilton (Paula), Morgan Rice (Joel), Preston Hamilton, Katie Purcell (Andrew), Sara Hamilton (Marisol Rios) and Natalie Keane (Jason).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Parkinson's Foundation, or to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
