He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Gauwitz, and Ganeta "Jean" Gauwitz, Sr. (Graf); and his wife Donna F. Eckerman. He is survived by: his sisters, Cheryl Brush of Silvis, IL, Kristi Heid (Keith) of Dunlap and Janell Carlson (Rod) of Peoria. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
