She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Miller and Alta Pearl Miller (Kidd); her husband Earl "Whitey" Whitehead Jr.; her son Russell Fugitt Jr.; and her grandson Jeremy Allen Fugitt.

She is survived by: her children, Angela Whitehead of Washington, Mike Fugitt of Groveland and Bruce Fugitt (Peggy) of Groveland. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
