He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Christie and Frieda Christie (Brightenstein). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cox of Washington; his children, Janet Nelson (Curt) of Washington, Jeanine Horvath, Donald W. Christie of Washington and Crystal Christie; his siblings, Beverly Rosenthal (Chuck) of Oquawka, IL, Bill Christie (Brenda) of Burlington, IA and Loren Christie (Winnie) of Oquawka; and his stepdaughters, Pauletta Robbins (Lonnie) of Marquette Heights, IL, Cindy Howerton of Peoria, Cheryl Baker (Rodney) of Chillicothe, IL, Marsha Brune (Daniel) of Peoria and Linda Berg (Steve) of West Virginia. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
