We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023, at the age of 100, Velma L. Hout of Washington, Illinois, born in Jenks, Oklahoma passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma L. Hout to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Whitten and Mary Whitten (Hazelwood); and her siblings, Marvin, Alvis Whitten and Lorene Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband John D. Hout; her daughter Carolyn Hawley (Dick) of East Peoria; her grandchildren, Rich Hawley (Deb) of Creve Coeur and Teresa Barker (Greg) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her sister Nadine Bollinger (Gene). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and their spouses; nine great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peoria Nazarene Church or Transitions Hospice.
