He was predeceased by: his sister Karen Monk. He is survived by: his parents, Gene Hobbs and Shirley Hobbs (Shanks) of Washington, IL.; his children, Erin McMurray (Matt) and Thomas Hobbs (Adaline); his siblings, Becky Armstrong (Bob), Don Hobbs (Karen), Sue Shannon (Nigel), Cindy Venegonia (Dan), Steve Hobbs (Angie) and Chris Hobbs (Wendy); and his grandsons, Connor and Jackson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's School or OSF NICU.
