It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Solange M. Wahl of Washington, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Proux and Madeleine Proux (Gassueu). She is survived by: her children, Brenda King (Virgil), Susan Reilly, Monica Moore (Frank), Angela Schumacher (David), Tamara McBurney (Troy) and John Wahl (Lori); her sister Jeannette Ferrand; and her nephew Frederic Ferrand. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
