It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Huffman (Washington, Illinois), born in Quasqueton, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2011, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilda Daubenberger and Frank Daubenberger; her brother Irwin Daubenberger of Cape Coral, FL; and her grandson John Jay Dircks of Allison, IA.. She is survived by: her former husband Carl Gustav Dircks; her husband Orville Huffman; her sister Maxine Oldridge (Chesteen) of Jesup, Iowa; her children, James Dircks (Donna), Jane Warrick (Joe) of Mackinaw, IL and Nancy Huckeby (Terry) of Peoria, AZ; and her grandchildren, Jim Dircks of Phoenix, AZ, Jeff Dircks of Winthrop, IA, Jolene Hoffman of Quasqueton, IA, Kim Davis of Manchester, MO, Brad Warrick (Leah) of Hopedale, IL, Kelly Revels (Marty) of Gaffney, SC and Ty Huckeby of Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
