With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley L. Bandeko of Washington, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garretson and Hazel Abbott Garretson; her husband Robert H. Bandeko; and her brother Jack Garretson. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Davis; her sisters, Nancy Gentile (Jones) and JoAnn Martin (Jones); her children, Daniel Bandeko (Cathy) of East Peoria, David Bandeko (Deb) of Peoria and Dianna McGrew (Scott) of Poolesville, MD.; her grandchildren, Missy, Jenny, Mary Beth, Annie, Brian, Steve, Laura, Michael and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Marissa, Justin, Sarah, Josh, Nicholas, Blake, Boston, Niko, Luca, Connor, Erin, Gracelyn, Abby and Evie; and her great great grandchildren, Theo, Colby, Josie, Mary Catherine, Francis and Annika.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the International Rett Foundation in the name of her great-great-granddaughter Josephine "Josie May" Roberts.
