We bid farewell to Shirley Ann Black of Washington, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Shirley Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Rappe; her husband Ronald Black; and her sister Betty Carlton (Daniel Prater). She is survived by: her mother Mary Rappe (Leutze); her children, Lori Prater, Randy Black, Greg Black, Rhonda Larson and Paul Huber; her grandchildren, Tanya Prater, Justin Prater, Alex Black, Sydney Larson, Hanna Black, Gage Black, Justice Black and Spencer Larson; and her great grandchild Emerald Larson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (705 E Jefferson St, Washington, IL 61571). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Northern Tazewell Fire Department or the Northern Tazewell Recreation Association.
