She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hanauer and Grace DeFreese; and her stepfather Robert DeFreese. She is survived by: her husband Walter Koch, Jr.; her daughters, Kim Lusher of Morton and Laurie McGinnis (Virgil) of Mackinaw; her stepchildren, Walter Koch III (Brenda) of Washington, Kevin Koch (Denise) of Peoria, Tim Koch of Arkansas and Dawn Koch of Peoria; and her brother Terry Breese (Diane) of Michigan.
