With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth F. Woodyard Young of Washington, Illinois, born in Charleston, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lincoln Woodyard and Iva Hanna Woodyard; and her husband Orville E. Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Jemma Barry of Washington and Julie Young (Jim Holaday) of Pittsburgh, PA; and her grandchildren, Angela Horvatic (Jim) and Lara Swiersz. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
