Gauwitz; his children, Matthew Paluska, Gina Antoinette Goostree (Tyler), Michelle Olson (Scott) and Scott Paluska (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Daniel Sawchuk, Grace Sawchuk, Ian Olson, Jamie Olson, Samuel Paluska, Benjamin Paluska, Noah Paluska and Nathan Paluska; and his siblings, Paula Paluska, Glenn Paluska, Marsha Paluska, Mary (Metcalf) and Mark Paluska (Lori).
