It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert F. Beenders Jr. of Washington, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Beenders, (Slonneger) and Robert F. Beenders, Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Gresham and Frank Wolf. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Churchill; his children, Sheri Reatherford (Mark) of Peoria Heights, Carol Hamilton (Jim) of Washington and Dr. Brent Beenders (Tana Repella) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Jason Reatherford (Nicole), Christopher Reatherford (Samantha), Matthew Reatherford, Sara Hamilton (Marisol) and Natalie Keane (Jason); his sisters, Barb Gresham and Sally Wolf; and his niece Debbie Reeder (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
