It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Childers (Washington, Illinois), born in Selmer, Tennessee, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Childers and Johnnie Plunk Childers; his siblings, Nellie, Carol and Lonnie; and his daughter Janice.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Childers; his daughter Kari Childers of Washington; his siblings, Lucy Roese of East Peoria, Jo Peterson (Steve) of Washington and Kenneth Childers (Barb) of Washington; his grandsons, Nick and Mike Vincent; and his brother-in-law Eddie Cagle. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
