He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Haywood and Carlene Haywood (Mavity); and his siblings, Elizabeth Wozniak (Betty), Sandra Raccuglia, Gayle Revels, James and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie (Moyer); his children, Rick Haywood (Carol) of Middleton, Michael Haywood (Lori) of Washington, Laurel Haywood of Holbrook and Shawn Haywood (Diana) of Middleton, Idaho; his grandchildren, Melody Mullin, Corey, Kyle Haywood, Sheena Lott, Garrick Haywood, Kayleigh Bonneur, Christina, Hanna, Jesse, Patrick Gabaldon, Brittany and Ashley Haywood; and his siblings, Carl, Barbara Bezley and Debra Ellis (Danny). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
