He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Pool and Viola Guth Pool; his former wife Susan van Dyck; his wife Marie "Kaye" Lents; his daughter Kelly Pool (John Scott) of Leadville, CO; his stepchildren, Lisa Mooney (Patrick) of Temecula, CA, Christy Firnberg (Ted) of Baton Rouge, LA, Nicole Robinson (Chad) of Des Plaines, IL, Eric Roof (Stephanie) of West Peoria, IL and Andrea McKeighan of Morton, IL.; his siblings, Mary Joyce May (Gerald) of Albuquerque, NM, Clark Pool (Diana) of Las Vegas, NV and Janice Laux (Bill); and his stepgrandson Noah Roof. He was also cherished by 14 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
