With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip J. Millar of Washington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Millar and Lucille Millar (Spring); his brother Lawrence; and his wife Lynda Kolski. He is survived by: his children, Michael Millar, Timothy Millar, Karen Flaherty (Brian) and Lori Wieland (Chris); his grandchildren, Natxeli Millar, Ivan Millar (Shelby), Tyler Millar (Malorie), Olivia Timken (Dionne), Colin Flaherty, Brendan Flaherty (Ashley), Declan Flaherty, Liam Flaherty, Owen Flaherty, Aidan Flaherty, Tristan Flaherty, Evan Flaherty, Bradley Wieland, Samantha Wieland and Sydney Wieland; his great grandchildren, Zion Timken, Ronan Flaherty and Halston Millar; and his brothers, Thomas Millar (Jeanette) and Paul Millar (Carolyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (705 E Jefferson St, Washington, IL 61571). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
