He was predeceased by: his father Rick Merchant; his daughter Annabelle Elizabeth Marie Crawford; his grandparents, Jim, Joyce Melton, Clyde and Caroline Merchant; and his aunts and uncles, Connie, Sharon, Jimmy and Chester Melton.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Melton Merchant (Edward Wolfe) of Jay, OK; and his son Tristan Ryan Leon Merchant (Krissy Crawford) of Washington. He is also survived by 8 aunts, 6 uncles, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evangelical United Methodist Church (401 Walnut St, Washington, IL 61571). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
