It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Means (Washington, Illinois), born in Hill City, Kansas, who passed away on April 16, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Means and Nora Patton Means; his brothers, Richard of Wilbur, Paul and Dale; and his granddaughter Tiffany Broshears.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Russell; his children, Gary Means (Chieko) of Henderson, NV, Kenneth Means of Roanoke, Cindy Broshears (Tim) of Mesa, AZ and Julie Wilson (Mark) of Bartonville; his grandchildren, Janet Means and Kober; and his great grandchildren, Mariella, Deacon, Jenna Huber and Jayton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight, or The Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund.
