It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy L. Cooke of Washington, Illinois, born in Harrisburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James 'Clarence' and Wilma Sittig; her husband Gary E. Cooke; her siblings, Paul Sittig, Mark Sittig and Pauline Eakle; and her grandson Dawson Nofsinger.
She is survived by: her son Douglas James Cooke (DJ) of Peoria; her stepchildren, Mike Cooke (Amy) of Eolia, MO, Teresa Nofsinger of Florida and Erin Brown (George) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Brandon Keller (Cidney), Cody Cooke (Courtney), Nick Cooke, Matthew Lovell, Robert Cooke, Hudson Nofsinger, Sorin Beyer-Schade, Grace Cooke and John Cooke; and her siblings, Kenny Walters of Galatia and Linda Rindfleisch (Jerry) of Sunnyland. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
