He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Robert Thurman; his great grandchild Jazmin Malson; and his parents, Glenn Michael and Florence Norma Despines (Turner). He is survived by: his significant other Anne; his daughters, Amanda Sue Thurman (late Robert) of Washington and Mickey Lee Malson (Frank) of East Peoria; his grandchildren, Robert Michael Thurman (Lorie) of Washington, Frank Brett Malson (Jill) of Fayetteville, GA, Beth Anne Thurman of Washington, Mark Wayne Thurman (Jamie) of Washington and Vincent Blake Malson (Nicole) of Metamora; his great grandchildren, Katy, Sara, Louie, Emily, Grace T., Ella, Grace M., Chloe and Reid; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Addisyn Wood and Ayshton Wood; and his great great grandchildren, Riley and Raelyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory (2075 Washington Rd, Washington, IL 61571).
