He was predeceased by: his mother Nelle Gustafson Gerts; and his siblings, Merle Olson, Vernon, Verla Olson and Jack Gerts.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Smith (Ron) of Arkansas, Teresa Helems (Kevin) of East Peoria and Eric Olson (Marla) of Green Valley; his grandchildren, Mitch, Katlyn, Mason, Wyatt, Joel, Jessica, Devin and Amber; and his extendeds, Vail, Pomeranian and Harry.
