Marjorie Honeg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Honeg of Washington, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjorie Honeg to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Martin and Ruth Anliker Martin; and her siblings, Melvin, Roland "Swifty", Bill Martin, Verna Lott and Esther Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Bremer (Rob) of St Louis, MO and Mark Honeg (Robin) of Irmo, SC.; her grandchildren, Jacob, Natalie Bremer of St Louis, MO, Taylor Ingram (Jerrod) of Towanda, IL and Hunter Atkinson (David) of Chicago, IL.; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Madison and Gracey Ingram; her siblings, Mary Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ and Roger Martin of Peoria, IL; and her caregiver Dr Riley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM and at 12:15 PM at the Washington Presbyterian Church (105 S Elm St, Washington, IL 61571). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church or to St Jude.
