She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Mae (Curtis) and Millard A. Tate; her husband James Valentine Sr.; her daughter Annette Catton; her granddaughter Elizabeth Rae; and her brother Millard.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Hendrick (Mike) of Antioch, IL and Jim Valentine (Jennifer) of Newnan, GA; her grandchildren, Michael Hendrick (Brianna) of Bakersfield, CA, Matthew Hendrick (Carolina) of Nashville, TN, Stephanie Catton (Kevin Ingalls) of Port Byron, IL, Allen Catton (Kaylea) of Sunnyland, IL, Madison Valentine and Mackenzie Valentine of Washington, IL; her great grandchildren, Halei Catton, Kale James Hendrick and Halen Rae Hendrick; and her siblings, Larry, William "Bill" Tate, Sue Hiland, Norma Weaver and Chris Weaver.
Margaret attended church regularly until Covid, then watched Dr. Robert Jeffress on Pathway to Victory.
