He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Roth and Emma Roth (Pflederer); his son-in-law Dr. Bernard Cahill; and his stepgrandson Lance Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Sara Purdy of Washington; his daughters, Sandra Cahill of Peoria, IL, Janet Wehnes (Eldon) of Washington, IL and Nancy Kirkpatrick (Edward) of Saybrook, IL; his grandchildren, Matthew Wehnes (Kayla) and Stacy Schwarz (Chris); his stepgrandson Wade Kirkpatrick (Velvet); and his brother Harold Roth of Roanoke, IL.. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
