We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2022, at the age of 94, Lawrence J. Miller Jr. of Washington, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence J. Miller; his wife Theresa W. Scheirer; his siblings, Donald Miller, Maxine Gardner, Judy Miller and Bernard Miller; his daughter Joan Miller; and his son-in-law John DeWaard.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Fahel (Mike), Rita Ernst (Joe), Raymond Miller of Peoria, Mary Ragains (Randy) of Eureka, Lawrence Miller III (Valerie) of Washington, Phyllis DeWaard of Kanawha, IA and Vincent Miller (Linda) of St. Louis, MO; his daughter-in-law Rise Miller; his siblings, Sondra McEnroe, Mary Tegtmeyer and Phillip Miller; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Miller, Linda Miller and Bernice Scheirer. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; 7 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick School or the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
