He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ashley and Pauline Ashley (Icenogle); his wife Della Mae Johnson; and his siblings, Darrel Ashley and Janet Prior.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Ashley of Galesburg, Lynn Braucht (Keith) of Bloomington, Stacey Bitner (Graig) of Washington and Lisa Sheckler (David) of Peoria. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
