He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jr. Zaiser and Mary Zaiser; his wife Sue Lawrence; and his brother Jay Zaiser (Debbie). He is survived by: his children, John Zaiser Jr. (Dari), Samantha Leverton (Jarrett) of Washington and Josh Zaiser of East Peoria; his grandsons, Andrew, Quinten, Easton, Anson, Paxton, Hawkins, Owen and Lucas; his great grandchild Carter; and his siblings, Jim Zaiser (Teresa), Jeff Zaiser (Julia) and Jane Broeg (Craig).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (705 E Jefferson St, Washington, IL 61571).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Washington St. Jude Run will be accepted in his memory.
