He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Goonan Sr. and Helen Rukat; his wife Delores; his son Sean; and his sister JoAnn.
He is survived by: his half-siblings, Paul J. Goonan, Paton Pallis, Linda Marichak, Susan Biel, Cathy Pallis and Holly Pallis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
