He is survived by: his children, Joseph Dougherty (Katie), Molly Colli (James), Maureen Leathers (Scott) and Katie Rantisi (Sharbel); his grandchildren, Drew (Aili), Brenna (Hayden), Declan, Genevieve, Isaiah, Finley, Sloane and Dorothy; his siblings, Mike Dougherty (David), Thomas Dougherty (Cathy), Mary Jo Flynn and Kathleen Matheny; his sister-in-law Patti Dougherty; and also, Dan Fuertges, Mary Ann Soszynski, Jerry Fuertges (Judy) and Ed Fuertges. He is also survived by two aunts, one uncle, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Church Sanctuary Fund or Illinois CancerCare Foundation.
