She was predeceased by: her parents, James Powell and Gladys Powell (Strassburger); and her brothers, Jim Powell and Jerry Powell. She is survived by: her husband James Svymbersky; her children, Cheryl Peck (Jim) of Germantown Hills, Deborah Shanahan (Mark) of East Peoria, David Svymbersky (Nita) of Mackinaw and Matthew Svymbersky (Corri) of Portland; her grandchildren, Joshua Peck (Amanda), Chelsea Peck, Jennifer Gray (Caleb), Ryan Shanahan, Danielle McKean (John Paul), Michael Shanahan, Morgan Rekart (Svymbersky) and Isabella Rekart (Svymbersky); her brothers, John Powell of Peoria and Daniel Powell of Scottsdale, AZ; and also Jackie Gard. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
