With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Mae McGlaughlin of Washington, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Weaver; her husband John S. "Jack" McGlaughlin; her son Fred McGlaughlin; and her great grandchild Gracie Dischert. She is survived by: her children, Becky McGlaughlin of Washington, Jenny Rieke (Ivan) of Congerville, Marsha Burbidge (Burt) of Flower Mound, TX and Mike McGlaughlin (Karen) of Washington; and her half-sister Phyllis Riesebieter of Sherrard. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Patrick School, or Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
