He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Smith and Ruby Smith. He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Smith (Norma) of Shiloh, IL and Jackie Smith (Kathy) of Seymour, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude.
