She was predeceased by: her son John Whelan; and her sisters, Judy Bach and Jeann Arnold. She is survived by: her husband Donald J. Whelan; and her brother James Gould (Karin) of Creve Coeur. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
