He is survived by: his children, Michael Schafer, Donald Pickett II (Lorraine), Shawn Reber (Keith) and Shelly Pickett; his grandchildren, Kasandra Hartnett, C. J. Atchley, Victoria Bloom, Marissa Reber, Thomas Rosa and Michael Schafer, Jr.; and his siblings, Thomas Pickett, Sr. and Melodie Boyjisky. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
