Diana Maxheimer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana Maxheimer of Washington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 59. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diana Maxheimer to pay them a last tribute.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Diana leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Franklin Maxheimer; her brothers, Steve and Stan; and her nephew Simon. She is survived by: her mother Mariann Maxheimer; and her sisters, Susan LaHood (Joe) of Washington and Beth Maxheimer LaFollett of Washington. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 9016 (300 Zinser Pl, Washington, IL 61571).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Steve Maxheimer Memorial Scholarship Foundation Fund, Inc., which yearly presents up to 12 scholarships to deserving high school seniors in Washington and other tri-county high schools.
