He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Cherrie and Ethel F. Swisher Cherrie; and his brothers, John, Ralph, Carl and Gene.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Feemster Storey; his children, Jeffrey David Cherrie (Kristen) of Fort Myers, FL and Trina J. Saunders (Michael) of Groveland; his grandchildren, Lucas, Annabelle Cherrie, Katie Ludy (Jacob), Rachel, Caleb and Joshua Saunders; and his sister Eleanor Wenger of California.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Community Church in Washington.
