With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claude L. Greenway of Washington, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Greenway and Margaret Ritter Greenway. He is survived by: his children, Gina Bull (Rod) and Jeff Greenway (Heather); his grandchildren, Vik, Belle, Sol, Reed and Luc; and his siblings, Sue Beach (Ed) and Lani Greenway (Connie). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation for the support of veterans and their families.

“So sorry to hear the passing of Claude, please accept my sincere sympathies. I've known Claude for most of my life and enjoyed being in his presence. Claude worked at Couri's Foodtown before and after serving his country and always had a story to tell on any occasion. On behalf of my dad Michael Couri he considered Claude family and kept in touch with Claude up until recently, they often went out to breakfast or lunch over the many years!!
