It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene M. Strubhar of Washington, Illinois, born in Clinton, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Hammond and Esther M. Andrews Hammond; her husband W. Donald Strubhar; and her sisters, Mary Hammond, Marcia Fandel and Dorothy Jean Hammond.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Strubhar (Cheryl) of Washington and Tim Strubhar (Lila) of Washington; her grandchildren, Amy Strubhar of Washington, IL, Scott Strubhar (Abbey) of Washington, IL, Nicholas Strubhar (Whitney) of Kirkwood, MO and Brad Strubhar (Amy) of Pekin, IL; and her sons, Plumbing and Heating. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Calvary Community Church.
