She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Taylor and Georgia Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Robert D. Smith of Valentine's Day; her children, Steven Smith of Washington, Kim Bendixen (Norbert) of Washington, Kelly Ruder of Washington, Krista Cooper of Washington and Kara Smith (Carrie) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Ashley, Cassy (Ryan), Chevie (Levi), Taylor (Jake), Kiley, David and Heidi (Paul); and her great grandchildren, Pierce, Colby, Kitner, Maylee, Mac, Jack, James, Ty, Tayte, Aaliyah and Chance.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Connect Church (1750 Washington Rd, Washington, IL 61571). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Cathie's memory to the family for a charity of their choice.
