He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Hatfield and Eva Myers Hatfield; his wife Mary Louise Frieda; his sons, William Hatfield (Charlotte) of Annapolis, MD, Patrick Hatfield (Patty) of Washington and Michael Hatfield (Banu) of Morton, Ill.; his grandchildren, Bennett, Kathleen, Samantha, Maggie, Elizabeth, Miranda, Ethan, Perry, Andrew, Clark, Jack and Simon; his sister Rosemary Barnes of Troy, MO.; and his daughter-in-law Jill Hatfield.
Memorials may be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church Youth Program, the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
